Munro undertook a fast-track project at Southend Hospital to replace the existing boilers with two new LPHW boilers. The first of two phases, the work was completed within an unusually tight schedule which required meticulous planning.
In addition to the boiler work, we were commissioned to replace the entire undercroft pipework using stainless steel piping up to 8 inches in diameter.
The high initial cost of this material will quickly be repaid by its longevity. The work was carried out with the absolute minimum of disruption to the smooth running of the hospital.
We have carried out a wide range of projects at the hospital, others include; The replacement of the emergency lighting and more recently, the renewal of the fire alarm systems.
