Congratulations to our James Monk who was named The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Apprentice of the Year 2024/25 earlier this week.

James is one of our Intermediate Quantity Surveyors who has completed his Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship and is now working towards his Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.

He was shortlisted to the top 3 out of 12 applicants, and then had to deliver a 30 minute presentation on driving sustainability in the built environment to a panel of judges.

He demonstrated competence as a quantity surveyor with a comprehensive understanding of the issues that the construction industry faces with regards to sustainability and environmental impact.

James hopes to inspire others to pursue an apprenticeship so they can experience the same transformative benefits that he has been fortunate enough to have with achieving the CIOB Apprentice of the Year award.
