St Jude's Church in South Kensington was built in 1870 and is a Grade II listed building.
Main Contractor, Mansell, was awarded a £5m contact to transform the Church in Southwest London. Building work began to create St Paul's Theological Centre, part of St Mellitus College.
The refurbishments involved re-roofing the church and expanding the crypt space under the whole length of the building. Space has been created for three lecture rooms, smaller rooms for seminars, a large library, offices, and a general open space. There is also space in the crypt for a nursery school and counselling rooms for work among the homeless.
Munro Building Services worked with Mansell on the M&E, which included the installation of a new boiler room and a comprehensive refit of the electrical systems.
