The existing building required stripping out, remodelling and a new fit out in order to transform the building from an office into a laboratory, office and ancillary accommodation for the new occupier, Heptares Therapeutics.
The two-storey refurbishment also included plant at roof level and would see the installation of reception, café, office and shower block functions as well as featuring a variety of laboratory spaces, ranging from a radioactive laboratory to pharmacology engineering laboratories.
Careful consideration was given to ensure services were installed that allowed for future adaptations and modification of the building as well as flexible space to fit with the building's existing footprint and meet the needs of the building's current occupier.
The project was delivered in a 26-week programme, which required extensive resource and management including our directly employed labour force.
