Munro Building Services provided the design, installation and commissioning of MEP services to Phase 2 of The Burlington Press development in Foxton, Cambridgeshire.

The development by specialist investors Mission Street and BGO is within Phase 2 of the scheme proposed to deliver 64,000 sq ft of brand-new laboratory and office space.

The two-storey building comprises three wings centred around a double-height communal atrium, providing a common reception and meeting spaces.

Targeting BREEAM Excellent, the new development is complete with EV charging points, photovoltaic panels and highly efficient MEP systems using energy efficient air source heat pumps to provide heating and cooling throughout the development. Overall, this reduces the site’s reliance on fossil fuels.
