Munro completed a challenging decarbonisation project, which included the removal and replacement of ventilation and cooling plant, to achieve the client’s energy requirements. As part of Huntingdonshire District Council's strategy to decarbonise their facilities, Munro worked in partnership with Pentaco Construction to deliver a major plant update in a short programme period.

Munro were involved in the design development alongside the client’s professional team to ensure the selection of the new Air Handling Units and Heat Pumps achieved the stringent energy requirements, whilst focusing on project costs and lead in periods to achieve the client’s tight programme constraints.

Working in an operational facility, Munro delivered multiple AHU’s and Heat Pumps during two major crane lifts, along with upgrading the BMS controls systems and refurbishing multiple areas within the offices with new LED lighting.
