The new student accommodation providing 72 modern, ensuite study bedrooms was delivered as a Passivhaus scheme by eliminating the use of fossil fuels. The mechanical installation also consisted of energy efficient solutions such as a Combined Heat & Power Unit, low temperature hot water heating with zoned, optimised and weather compensating extensions and sanitation that is quiet, efficient and requires minimal maintenance.

Munro provided a complete M&E package, consisting of efficient electrical solutions, Wi-Fi and internet connections, lighting services, and fire and intruder alarms.

It has been designed to create the ideal environment for individuals to cultivate personal friendships and professional networks outside of their subject area, hoping to last for years to come.
