Our Projects

Munro Building Services assisted with the construction of the new £15m Cambridge Mosque which supports 1000 worshippers as well as having a café and dedicated rooms for meetings, learning, and community events.

The mosque was designed with a focus on the environment and sustainability, and has become Europe's first Eco-Mosque.

Services consist of natural ventilation, heat recovery systems, water saving features and air-source heat pumps, all ensuring the building has good energy efficiency.

Due to the magnitude of the building, the sound speaker system and lighting services were installed to ensure the space is well lit and the vast numbers in the congregation can follow the worshipping services clearly.
