Envac is one of the most innovative players in the global automated waste collection industry and the inventor of the pneumatic waste collection system.

Envac inlets installed at the 178 -hectare Barking Riverside complex replace 19,000 traditional bins which would usually be installed on a site like this.

L&Q engaged Munro to provide building services for the construction of a new Waste Management Centre (The Wilds Centre), consisting of a lower ground floor dedicated to the Envac Waste Management Plant, and a 1st floor Ecology centre comprising offices, meeting rooms and an exhibition space for the local community to use.
