Munro Building Services Ltd oversaw the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health installation throughout the refurbishment at Cambridge Science Park.

The extensive remodelling of the Astex facility had a focus on modernising the building as well as creating highly technical Chemistry Laboratories.

Additional works included ducting and electrics as well as the installation of fume cupboards and ventilated cabinets. A new air handling unit was also installed to the top of the plant room.

This building and adjacent premises on the Science Park site remained occupied through the works, so consideration had to be taken to planning, logistics, access and noise.
