WYNG Gardens, Trinity Hall
After the original site was knocked down, Trinity Hall funded WYNG Gardens with main contractor Balfour Beatty.
The New Build will provide a student accommodation facility, including over 72 en-suite bedrooms which all include their own work station with free, high-speed internet connection and WiFi. As well as the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens, WYNG Gardens also provides a flexible space for conferences and seminars inside and outside of term time.
Munro took on this M&E Design and Build project with M&E Consultant Hoare Lea. The £1.7m project would consist of ventilation, heating, fire alarms, door access control, CCTV, electrical power, data and audio visual facilities for seminars and video conferencing. Furthermore, the innovative and high spec interiors paired with Munro’s state-of-the-art lighting systems create a positive and contemporary feel to empower students and nurture their development.
Everything works together to provide high quality accommodation in the city centre that works towards Trinity Hall’s elite reputation as well as working towards the University’s energy efficiency targets.
