'Roaring' Success Raises £5000 for The Princes Trust

Following this summers fundraising events, The Cambridge Roar, sponsored by Munro Building Services raised a massive £5000 for The Princes Trust charity. Munro electrical apprentice Deon Doyle presented the cheque along with colleagues Tony Murdoch and Linden Beattie from The Cambridge Roar at a cheque presentation ceremony held this week.

Deon who joined the Munro business after enrolling into The Prince’s Trust ‘Get Into Construction’ programme just over a year ago now, hopes that the money raised will support other young people to build skills and confidence to get a job and career.

With it costing around £1,000 per young person to participate in such schemes, the money raised will help approximately 5 young people in the Cambridgeshire area.
