Apprentice Success Stories: Andy

Andy joined the Munro business 10 years ago, where he was taken on as an apprentice electrician and studied his City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations. During his 4 year apprenticeship, he was mentored and supported by a wide range of highly experienced Munro colleagues.
Apprenticeship to Management
Since qualifying, Andy has been promoted a further four times to; approved electrician; charge hand, electrical site foreman and now project manager. He completed further additional training with Munro which included both Management and Testing and Inspection competencies.
Reflecting back to when Andy started and now having gained extensive experience, he comments:
“I had exceptional access to technical knowledge through the team at Munro and the training and support provided was really well delivered. I can really appreciate that now when I look back at my time as an apprentice.”
